Furniture and Finds

So far I've found some great pieces for the house. I have to watch the funds *but* as I've explained to my husband, there are some things that you NEED to invest in to make your house your home.

For example; an early 1900's factory cart. .....hello perfect coffee table!
This little beauty was used in factories across the Southwest to transport furniture, fabric and other supplies. I found it in a warehouse clearance spot in Sterling. I have a certificate of authentication and all. I'm fancy.

Trunk and storage space anyone? If you haven't been to Home Goods yet do yourself a favor and go. There are tons of items at reasonable prices that have a unique flavor. I found this trunk/bench piece and thought how perfect it would be in the same room as my coffee table. Extra seating and storage at once, oh my! I suppose we'll go with a travel/chic/industrial theme for that room.

How about this mirror score from Craigslist? ...So much potential. We used this piece to open up the wall in our dining room. A little paint will go a long way!
